Large estate former Truman pub opened in July 1955 and now mainly caters for locals. The 1930s building has been tastefully-decorated and updated. The old public and saloon bars have been knocked-through into one bar. Much exposed brickwork and wooden beams. Some seating at a lower level. Refurbished in 2022 using pastel blue and green tones both inside and outside also saw the installation of a new heated pergola and an extended garden.
