Situated in the centre of Belper and named after Sir Richard Arkwright, an important 18th century mill owner. Arkwright's is a modern friendly one roomed real ale bar with constantly changing cask ales and ciders often from less known sources, always including a 'brown' beer often Bass. A regular Guide entry with current beers to be found on Real Ale Finder, always has good quality bar snacks available and stocks low or zero alcohol drinks. Holds regular beer festivals in conjunction with local events.
