Small cosy 16th-century inn, just off the main High Street in picturesque Burford, which has been cared for by the same family since 2011.
Four ask ales are available from Hook Norton Brewery, which can be enjoyed by the fire or the comfortable bar area.
The cosy restaurant has a stone floor and provides comfortable dining and quality locally-sourced food. The menus offer a variety of freshly prepared meals including sandwiches, gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options. Warmed by a real fire, there is seating for food by the bar.
Outside is an attractive courtyard, sun terrace and walled garden with some covered seating for alfresco drinking and dining.
There are three bedrooms available for a stay in the town, with the Cotswolds nearby.
Families and dogs are welcome.
