A new landlady took over running the Anchor in April 2026. They welcome dogs and have a dogs menu. Families are also welcome. Local eggs, cards and pictures are for sale. They serve locally-sourced coffee. Sporting events are shown on the TV. In addition to board games they have a pool room where it is free to play and a free Jukebox. Library book swap. In addition to the garden they have an outdoor marquee and bar that can be booked for events.
