A visit in August 2015 had no cask beer so it seems to have gone the way of the whole chain in abandoning real ale. The formulaic and industrial decor of this chain has been toned down recently. The main bar area is high with bare walls and ceiling showing the piped air systems. Around the corner at the back, a lower area is covered by an open mezzanine area that can be booked free of charge for functions. The continental style shiny metal bar gives the real ales a section of their own. High wooden tables and seats in the front bar give way to a more informal layout at the rear. Food from the corporate wine bar style menu is available every day from 10am to 10pm
