Family run micropub in an imaginatively converted milking shed, part of the original Tardebigge Court (Home Farm) likely to have been one of the farms making up the estate for Hewell Grange mansion constructed in the 1800s for Lord Windsor, whilst the estate itself dates from the reign of Henry VIII. Located under the built-on archway from the old farm courtyard that is home to several small independent shops and businesses. The pub consists of 3 areas; The Chapel with an original stained-glass feature, Bar and rear Snug with wood burning stove. You can be assured of a great welcome and offered four changing beers; a lower strength blonde, Best bitter, Dark ale and a Premium ABV usually an IPA. In each of the last 5 years at least 280 different beers have been made available as part of the regular offering or for one of the many beer festivals and typically from less well-known or smaller breweries. Pub snacks are usually available. Local musicians often hosted once a month (Sunday) and various other entertainment events throughout the year. The pub is on a direct bus route between Redditch and Bromsgrove and just under a mile from Tardebigge Top Lock on the Birmingham to Worcester canal.
