New conversion opened 2024 as an independent modern bar. Very smart interior with access for disabled persons but not to the toilets. Operates mainly as a family friendly coffee bar with pastry snacks during the day; morphs into a cocktail bar in the evening. Has added a couple of cask ales since opening and has several keg beers including Camden Pale on tap plus Hawkstone Cider.

Historic Interest

A Moot was an ancient court with trials held in Alfreton at the Moot Hall, now demolished.
