Hilcote Community Centre is a modern building set on the edge of the quiet village of Hilcote and backs onto a stream which leads to a series of fantastic countryside walks. It is the re-incarnation of the old Miners Welfare which was burnt down and re-built in the 1990s and is now owned and managed by Blackwell Parish Council.
The facilities include, a large modern function room with a raised stage and sprung floor suitable for dancing, separate licenced bar area with padded seating, a separate meeting room which can also be used as an extension to the bar area, a kitchen providing self catering facilities complete with cooker and fridge, a pleasant, secure garden area with seating, disabled friendly - including ramps and disabled toilet, CCTV and ample off road parking.
