The Highlander is your ultimate destination for a unique blend of traditional Scottish entertainment, food and drink.

Nestled in the heart of Inverness, it is probably the only venue in Scotland that offers live traditional music every day of the year with some of Scotland’s best acts playing from 6pm till late each day of the week.

With state of the art sound and light creates a relaxed environment for guests to wind down, enjoy some food and drink, and listen to real Scottish traditional music. Perhaps a wee ceilidh dance wouldn’t go amiss!

We’ve sourced our fine selection of beers, gins and whiskys from local wholesalers, with one of our favourite breweries Dogfalls Brewco situated only 1 miles from the premises.

Traditional Scottish food is served all day, ranging from artisan burgers and sandwiches to freshly caught haggis, fish 'n Chips, steak 'n ale pie amongst others.

If you’re looking for a good feed and a few quiet drinks, or sampling some of the finest gins and whiskys and dancing around the tables, which ever is it, you’ll find it at Highlander.
