Independently run from the Green Hotel, the Backstage Live Music Venue & Sports Bar is a new occasional outlet for cask-conditioned ales from the Loch Leven Brewery just across the main road. Real ale is served to coincide with music events and busy sporting programmes; casks are now dispensed from 2 handpulls. At other times, craft beers from Cold Town are available, along with Loch Leven Gin and speciality cocktails.

Access to Backstage is through the Green Hotel; the Green Road entrance has had to close because of a noise complaint.

Real ale currently discontinued, awaiting improvements in cellar cooling.
