Historic venue at the bottom of East Hill that was the site of a sortie during the Civil War.

Historic Interest

Built in late 15th Century and site of the East Street sortie on 5th July 1648 as part of the English civil war. Bullet holes from the encounter remain highlighted in the timbers of the building in red.
