Friendly and welcoming two room stone-built pub named to reflect its position half-way between Gateshead and Hexham.

The pub serves one changing real ale. An extension to the range of available real ales is planned, with the aim of sourcing locally where possible.

Food and bar snacks are available throughout the week with roasts served on a Sunday.
