A true local pub at the heart of the village, just eight miles inside the border, dating back to the mid 1700s. Rescued by the current licensee from the tight grip of S&N, the Red Lion is a proper Free House, with many varied guest beers being served through the third hand pump. Freshly prepared food is available, with blackboards proudly displaying where the local produce is sourced. Home to the local leek growing club!
