This Pub is Permanently Closed

Dating from 1834 and rebuilt around 1900 the Porthole is near the ferry landing for South Shields. In keeping with its location has ship's memorabilia. In the two bars live entertainment. Plays regularly throughout the week including Jazz sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday lunchtime.
