Historic inn overlooking the River Wear at the north end of Fatfield Bridge

Dating from 1827 this pub once included a brewery.

The pub has had a major makeover and renaming ; the bar is still on the left of the pub while the italian restaurant is to the right. The pub is overlooked by the historic Worm Hill. Regular buses outside the door No cask ale on April 2026 ; to be looked at later.
