About 15 minutes walk from the Stadium of Light, this local pub has six handpulls for cask ale and up to 18 real ciders. They are all listed on a board as you enter the bar. There is 20p off a pint for CAMRA members

The bar has a pool table and multiple TV's, Note the signage in the bar, the musical instruments hanging near the ceiling and the montage of the Sunderland 1973 FA Cup winning team.

There is a Fun Quiz on Thurs 9pm and a domino handclap on Sunday from 3pm. The back room downstairs is a function room but also used by the Sunday league football team and as an overflow if the front bar is busy.

At the back of the pub can be found a smart beer garden.
