Now a Stonegate Craft Union pub (2024) there's a comfortable and contemporary feel in this old pub which has been much altered to its present rambling open-plan layout. There are a number of drinking recesses and there's an open courtyard. Four handpumped beers include three on rotation. A 20% CAMRA discount applies. The pub is a popular late-night venue at weekends with karaoke on Fridays, DJs or rock bands at weekends plus occasional daytime events.
