Closed in January 2022 however, following a campaign by the Parish Council the pub was refurbished and re-opened in July 2022. Cask ale sadly removed and the rear garden is in a state of neglect. Punch intended to sell the car park and land at the rear of the pub for development. The pub has two entrances to the car park so development is possible. The Council have submitted an application for the pub to be listed as an Asset of Community Value
