Closed in November 2017, the pub looked destined for permanant closure but in 2018 a new Facebook page started to document major changes and a clear indication that the pub would reopen. Totally refurbished both in and out with a new 'barn' extension for accomodation, the pub reopened in June 2019. Part 17C coaching inn with original mounting stone on site. Located on the A345 on the Southern edge of the village, the Dog & Gun is the last of three pubs Netheravon once had.
