15C, the building dates back to 1435, and it was then known as the Crispin Inn. Part of the building at that time housed a busy shoemakers' hall and St. Crispin is the patron saint of the trade. It was also used as a Methodist Sunday school. Two-bar pub with low beams, now very much an eatery with food taking centre stage. The old pub has been transformed with a stylish chic interior with exposed beams, rich, bold, coloured walls and fairy lights. Large lounge area for those who just want a drink. Sheltered courtyard provided.
