The multi-award-winning Struggs stands in the shadow of Lincoln Castle and is popular with locals and visitors alike. The walls of the two rooms are festooned with old photographs and the ceilings are covered with pump clips.

The sunken garden, with its splendid brewing process mural and floral displays, is a sun trap.

The numerous guest beers, listed on a chalkboard above one of the two fireplaces, offer a range of styles and strengths. Dark beers and local brews always feature, with some stronger beers tending to appear at weekends. Real cider is occasionally available plus a changing keg beer There is live music most weekends and the ‘Practice Christmas’ in September is always great fun.

Winner of many local CAMRA awards including Pub of the Year 2023 and 2025.
