Situated on the Windermere road just outside the main town centre, this traditional historic pub has one large open-plan bar which has two distinct seating areas. The original stone fireplace is at one end of the main bar area. There is an open terrace with tables and a small covered stage plus a separate covered patio.

Small area of level access from street, then one (20cm) step down to bar area which is level throughout. There is a small ramp to darts area, and a shallow ridge from there to covered patio. The ladies' WC is accessed from the darts area through two doors with two steps down. The men's WC is accessed from the bar with one step down. There is o accessible WC. The open terrace is accessed by one step down and slopes to the side.
