The pub building dates back to the 16th Century. Hanging baskets of flowers are seasonally displayed. The pub has good free parking. It is Grade II listed with several different floor levels and full of interesting features and nooks & crannies too numerous to mention. The patio garden has a K6 telephone box but no phone inside. To the rear is a more modern extension.
