Attractively modernised inn dating from the 17th century with 8 en-suite rooms, and serving excellent, freshly prepared meals. In summer the courtyard garden is the perfect spot for relaxed dining, while in winter the bar is warm and cosy. A large restored barn is used for functions, and there's a beer festival in July.

Two ales are served, there's pasta specials on Tuesdays, chef's specials on Wednesdays, and a full lunch and dinner menu Wednesday to Saturday.
