Just a 20-minute walk from Salhouse Broad, the Stag is a 400-year-old beamed building with friendly locals, good food and entertainment, and a large beer garden at the back. There's two bars, one tiled with a dart board and real fire, the other carpeted and with more seating, and a restaurant area.

Under new management following a major refurbishment in June 2023.
