Large 17C pub which was one of the first to be built outside the city walls, on the site of Lollard's Pit - a place of execution for heretics, hence the name.
Close to the Yacht Station moorings, the pub has up to six ales available, from Woodforde's and local breweries.
There's also a large enclosed patio area at the rear, plus a games room.
