Large and friendly single bar traditional wet-led pub with wood panelling throughout and a wood-burning stove, serving four cask ales from local breweries, usually including a dark beer.

There's plenty of seating outside at the front and rear, some of it covered.

Light lunches are served from Wednesday to Friday, Thai food is available Thursday to Saturday from 4.30pm, with breakfast at weekends from 10am.
