Steel Tank Alehouse, Chandler's Ford

Micropub.

A friendly, often busy, spacious micropub that was converted from a shop unit (previously a bank) with plate glass frontage. Inside it has a mix of green tiled and brick walls with wood panelling, whilst the ceiling is adorned with bunting. There are bench seats and stools with round tables that face a long wooden bar. Extra seating is available on benches at the front of the pub, that is partially covered by the overhanging roof. Over 18's only.

The bar has eight beer handpumps serving ever-changing, mostly local, cask ales, plus at least 10 beers on keg taps. There are also two keg ciders and at least eight bag-in-the-box ciders kept in the cool-room behind the bar.

Current Southern Hampshire CAMRA Pub of the Year 2025. It was also Pub of the Year 2019 & 2020, and Cider Pub of the Year 2024.

Good connections with BlueStar 1 bus route outside or Chandler's Ford Railway Station which is just a few minutes' walk away.
