There is a large open bar area with low and heavily beamed ceiling and a very large inglenook fireplace with gas fire. The half timbered paneled walls are complimented by some exposed brickwork. Guest beers are from local breweries. The food is good and the portions generous and is served every day. There is a small selection of foreign beers. The landlord and landlady are keen and enthusiastic CAMRA members and are aiming to hold regular beer festivals.
