Large fairly open plan interior, exposed wooden floorboards, a mixture of traditional pub seating plus leather sofas and bar tables. Outside is a substantial decked and paved area, over half of which is covered. Very much geared up for Bevois Valley's night time music trade with frequent live DJs and occasional bands. Two handpumps serve Dorset (DBC) Jurassic and Sharp's Doom Bar, though they are sometimes replaced with other brews. A £2 entrance charge is levied after 10pm Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday.

November 2022 report said that Cask Ale had been permanently withdrawn.
