There are stunning views from this Victorian granite pub set on the edge of Dartmoor national park situated 1000ft above sea level. It is particularly popular with walkers as well as the locals, for whom provides a focal point of the community. There is a well sourced beer range, mainly from local breweries, together with a local cider and a good and varied food menu. The outside bar, known as the Shed, is open daytime during school holidays and weekends Easter to September, when the weather is good. Sunday Roasts are only available during the winter.
