Community local in a picturesque village where the darts, skittles, football and pool teams are all based. The single bar is on two levels, with the first featuring an open fire and flagstone floor, while the raised area has a pool table. There are sports TVs in each area. Two local (Dartmoor 'Jail', Otter 'Bitter') plus one guest beer, which usually comes from a West Country micro-brewery and Sams Traditional Dry cider from Winkleigh. The rear terraced patio includes a skittle alley, which can double as a function room, a tiered seating area where barbecues are held in summer, and cover for smokers.

A older history than the Kings Arms, dates back over 400 years as a coaching inn
