The building is Georgian, altered and extended, and was once a bakery; it is now a single-bar pub, converted from a two-bar configuration. The bar has original beams, two real fires, a pool table and sports television. Food consists of reasonably-priced, home-cooked pub fare, and there is a children's menu. The White Horse presents monthly live music, and hosts a quiz night every Sunday. Upstairs are three bedrooms with a shared lounge and kitchen, available for overnight stays or longer lets.
