Pub is actually called 'Ye Olde Whyte Harte'.

This pub situated on the High Street, about 300m from the river, was built around 1563. It lives up to its name 'Olde' with stone flagged floor, exposed oak beams and low ceiling. A large central log fire separates the bar, with its small alcoves, from a more restaurant orientated area. At the back up some steps is the 'Garden Room', which is a walled room with various antiques with a marquee roof. Behind this is a small patio area with benches. The menu consists of modern pub food with a choice of small or large portions for most dishes. In November 2019, it won Fuller's 'Best Country/Village Pub' award.
