New management from 12th January 2026. Initially open for drinks only, food service to resume in a few weeks.

This old pub has a single bar, four real fires, a large extension housing a restaurant area, and outdoor seating on the front and rear patios. The food served is fresh and locally-sourced. Sunday roasts feature. Children are permitted inside until 7pm, and dogs are permitted only in the bar area. It is a few minutes' walk to Downton Holiday Park and Shorefield Country Park, and one mile to the coast.
