Large pub set in generous grounds was till 20 yrs ago a private house. It dates back to the 17th century and was the village manor house. its large south facing garden is a delight in summer and is a great place for families. Caskl ale reintroduced September 2019. No cask ale November 2021.

New management January 2023 reintroduced cask ale for a while. A further closure occurred reopening in June 2026 with cask beer on offer.
