Country inn nicely situated a few miles from Durham city, offering good food and drink plus comfortable accommodation. Three cask ales are served, usually at least one sourced locally, with alcohol available from noon. The interior was extensively refurbished in 2016, while the south facing rear beer garden provides excellent views over open countryside and is a lovely sun trap.
