New Wetherspoons pub, opened 12/12/25, under franchise arrangements with the Papas Group, of fish n chips & burger fame.

Has quickly become exceptionally popular in just 3 months, with noticeable more staff.

Situated next to Premier Inn, at southeast corner of the junction of A66 and A135.

Three Spoon's regular contracted beers and three nationally sourced guest beers are served.

Usual Spoon's menu and specials are served, including a manager's special of Ruddles Best Bitter at 99p on one recent Monday.

Large outodoor patio area.

Large car park - just keep driving around to the back and cut through the courtyard at the entrance to the Premier Inn. You have to drive out that way, so nothing lost.

Day time bus service at 10 minute intervals, which extends to 30 minute intervals in the evening.

Grand Central, Northern and Trans Pennine trains stopping at Eaglescliffe, Yarm and Stockton railway stations can easily be made use of, and then jump on the number 7 bus.

CAMRA vouchers still providing a bit of a mystery for some servers - just kindly suggest your server asks for a bit of help.
