Located in the lively Uplands Crescent area of Swansea and open since 2014. BrewStone specialises in "wood fire cuisine, craft beers and coffee". It is a large establishment, converted from two terraced houses, with lots of rooms spread over six split levels plus a large split level roof top terrace area at the rear. All decorated in a modern, but comfortable, stripped-down industrial theme.

There are two sides to the building. The Restaurant side (left) is open from 8am - 10pm. It has its own wall of beer taps at the rear of the long ground floor bar. The kitchen area on the ground floor is open plan, and the large wood fired oven is easily seen. The Restaurant also has a rear lower ground floor seating area with a rear entrance.

The separate main Bar area (right side), is only open in the evenings (Sun - Thurs 5pm-11pm, Fri-Sat 2pm-1am). This also has a large selection of beers in bottles, including many bottled conditioned foreign beers.

There is step free access into the Restaurant side from both front and rear entrances. The accessible toilet is immediately next to the rear entrance. The Restaurants ground floor is split into two levels midway, with about five steps, but there is a fold down stairlift, for those unable to climb them. The Bar has a single large step in from the front door. There is no step free access to the upper levels.
