Very large city centre pub located on the foundations of a 13th century hospice. The pub is fashioned after the Tudor style of buildings, it has a long open plan room served from a long central bar. It caters for large crowds during major sporting matches with multiple TV's. But due to its size, there are quiet areas of the pub. The pub has a large and popular outside area/garden, with heaters, which is unusual for the city centre, and a private function room for hire.
