Reopened under new management in 2024, this grade 2 listed building was originally a courthouse. The pub has two bar areas with a restaurant/function room, serving good pub food. This is a family orientated pub with an outside decked area, an outside play area and also an adult seating area from which under 12s are banned. With its large car park it is also a popular gathering point for various car clubs. The pub always serves a bitter, in the summer there will usually be a light or golden ale, in the winter a dark beer.
