Refurbished in late 2025, this city centre ale house is now smart and welcoming. Up to five cask ales are available with JW Lees Boddingtons Bitter being the regular. The entrance lobby has two doors with the one on the left leading to the snug. Decorated in shades of green with bench seating, this is a quiet TV free zone away from the bustle of the main pub. The second door leads into the largely open plan main section of the pub. To the right are several booths and a pool table. The area in front of the bar has an attractive tiled floor (sadly the old black and white tiles were damaged beyond repair and have had to be replaced), while the open area towards the rear has wood flooring. Extensive bench seating and a mix of table heights gives plenty of seating, in a pleasant and stylish setting. Pictures of Preston in bygone years adorn the walls. No food is served but you are welcome to bring your own.
This Pub serves 4 changing beers and 1 regular beer.
