Open plan local with a lively atmosphere. A locals pub set on the A62 at the Huddersfield side of Linthwaite that is very welcoming. Quiz night Thursday. Four changing cask ales, including beers from Black Sheep, Theakston, Wilde Child. Cash only.

Although now opened out into one room, three traditionally furnished, distinct areas remain. There’s a seating area to the left from the entrance and pool table to the right with the main seating area ahead. Pumpclips of mainly interesting beers from local and national breweries are displayed above the bar.)
