A old pub that has had a modern refurbishment, but with a stone flagged floor. It is independent and family run and offers accommodation, excellent quality food, and a range of up to six quality cask beers from the Nook Brewery. The pub is also cyclist, walker and dog friendly. Superb views from the windows and the beer garden. Local artwork adorns the walls, and many are for sale. Afternoon teas 1st Tuesday in the month, coffee mornings 2nd Monday in the month and theme nights last Friday in the month. A regular running group meets every Tuesday evening. Brunch served Saturday & Sunday mornings. Local CAMRA Pub Of The Season Winter 2023/24.
