Pub, Restaurant & Hotel.

The Glenelg Inn is a traditional Highland inn with cosy character, lively music nights and superb local Scottish cuisine all set in a spectacular setting with uninterrupted views over the Sound of Sleat to the Isle of Skye.

In summer 2019 all three handpumps are serving real ales from the Dun Brewery, just down the road at Corrary in Glen Beag. One of the range shown may occasionally be replaced by Dun & Dusted. During winter hours it is likely that only one pump will be in use and selling a winter warmer ale.

The menu takes full advantage of local produce - langoustines, seatrout, scallops, local venison, beef and hill-lamb. Booking is essential for evening meals.

The wine cellar is well and considerably stocked as is the bar with a good range of excellent single malts.

At peak mealtimes drinkers may be confined to the bar stools and armchairs by the fire.

NOTE: Summer hours are usually from around early April to the end of October and between the 28th December and 5th of January. No food is served or accommodation available when winter hours apply.

The nearby shortest Skye car ferry crossing operates seasonally, using ferry boat the MV Glenachulish, and is the last manually operated turntable ferry in the world.
