This is a hotel, which means that the bar is only open to residents.

This guest house has a large bar area which is open to residents only. It is located two miles from the A9 trunk where you turn at the roundabout at the south of the Dornoch Firth Bridge, onto the A835, Edderton is located on the pictish trail and is the site of the “battle of Carriblair” between the Picts and Vikings. The area has a number of buildings, stones and sites of historical interest. More recently the Balblair distillery (a short walk from Edderton Inn) was used in the film “The Angels Share” and now runs tours.

Directions
A9 North, approx 4 miles NE of Tain you will come to the roundabout at the Dornoch bridge, take the road for Bonar Bridge ( A836) for around 2 miles, about 100m past Sutherland’s caravan centre on th right there is a cross roads, take the right turn and follow the road through the village for approx 1/4 mile and the Edderton Inn is located on the right hand side.
