Formed in 1864 by officers of the East Lancashire Regiment, East Lancashire club has been an ever present member of the Lancashire Cricket League since its foundation in 1892.

This is predominently a cricket club hosting teams at all levels and age groups, it also has crown green bowls and squash courts. The car park entrance is on West Park road.

There are a couple of separate lounges with a single, changing real ale on offer.
