A large imposing building close to the college on the edge of the town centre. The pub is home to the impressive Big Clock Brewery, which can be viewed from the main drinking area. Up to eight Big Clock ales are available along with a large range of boxed real ciders. One third pint glasses are available to sample the beers or ciders served on a wooden platter for easy carrying. A range of pizzas and pasta dishes is served with many vegetarian options and a wood fired pizza oven provides an proper Italian twist. it may be advisable to phone to check opening times!
