The once separate public bar and lounge bar are knocked through to form a single modernised L-shaped room with pine furniture. Log fires in winter. Adjacent to the front car park is a floodlit timber decked area and garden with petanque pitch. Good home-cooked food is served. Two real ales are sold, one of which is usually from Charnwood Brewery; Timothy Taylor beers are also sometimes available. Unfortunately, no scheduled bus services to Hungarton.
