Extensively extended since its former days as The Talbot, the one large room which meanders around the central serving area has a distinctly contemporary ambiance. Suitably furnished for diners both inside and on the large alfresco dining area to the rear of the pub. Also popular with locals and walkers merely requiring a drink. Unfortunately there is no regular bus service to Gilmorton.

Historic Interest

The pub was formerly owned by the City Brewery Co (Lichfield), then by Banks's of Wolverhampton.
